These are just a few of my Hobbit Lego minifigures . They are from the movie 'The Hobbit'. Three of them come with the Bag End set and Thorin was purchased separately on Ebay.
Their names are Thorin Oakenshield, Bilbo Baggins, Dwalin and Balin, the dwarves. They are all mini Lego minifigures and by that I mean that they are shorter than normal Lego minifigures. They are the same size as Yoda, from Star Wars Lego sets. (See previous Yoda post)
Thorin is the king of the dwarves and comes with a sword and a small axe. Dwalin also comes with a sword. Bilbo, however, comes with Sting, his elfin-made sword, and the one ring to rule them all. Balin comes with two giant hammers, that are even bigger then he is!
These characters feature in the Tolkien books and in the recent Peter Jackson movies. They are on a quest to slay a dragon - or at least to have their own kingdom returned to them.
Thorin Oakenshield, seen above on the far left, has a rare hairpiece as does Dwalin next to him. Bilbo comes with a regular hobbit hairpiece and looks quite like Sam in this regard, from Lord of the Rings. However, Balin, on the far right, is hairless - he is bald and has tattoos.
These are great minifigures - a real must for all Lego, Hobbit and Tolkien fans.

BACK ON TRACK
This is my super hero collection of mini figures. I have DC and Marvel . (Spot the large minifigure in the middle!)
Here are some of the characters in my collection: Iron Man, Captain A, Batman, Hulk, Robin, Deadpool, and many more.
What I especially like about the Hulk minifigure - if you can really call him a mini-figure - is that he can hold other minifigures in his hands. He is roughly about the same size as the Goblin King in the Hobbit Lego Collection. It is about the size of a child's hand. Unfortunately, there is no Bruce Banner Lego minifigure - that is something that Lego needs to think about right?
There are other big figs such as the Green Goblin,(Spiderman) Troll (Lord of the Rings), and Rancor (Star Wars). All of these big figs can hold weapons easily in their hands without dropping them.
I haven't had time to blog for a while - apologies for that - but I am back on track now - with plenty of Lego products (not just Star Wars) to review on comment on. Enjoy!
(Peace Out)
